Aperture NI is a Northern Ireland based production business providing drone filming (with advanced EU and UK certification), videography, photography, live event production, AV installations, live streaming, social media content, website development, rigging, sound, and 3D printing, offering clients a comprehensive single source production partner.

 

Since launching, Aperture NI has experienced strong growth, supporting live events across the UK and working with a wide range of organisations to produce high-quality

visual content. Aperture NI specialises in bringing ideas to life across digital and broadcast platforms, combining technical precision with creative storytelling.

 

Matthew Wilson, owner of Aperture NI is a a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast with a degree in Broadcast Production, where he developed skills in videography, video editing, photography, and social media content creation, alongside experience in specialised production areas. While at Queen’s, he was also Head of Queen’s Radio TV (QRTV) leading a team of 42 members and executive produced over 25 productions, many nominated for national student media awards. His professional experience includes founding Aperture NI, providing coverage and event support for a range of events across the UK, surveys and videos for housing companies, sports videography, BBC credits with Triplevision, BBC Radio Ulster experience, and presenting for Queen’s University social media. He is also a practising member of The Academy of Experts in drone filming and videography, demonstrating a commitment to high levels of professional industry standards. His awards include RTS Winner (Craft Award for Directing), RTS Highly Commended (Documentary of the Year) alongside multiple SRA and SMEDIA shortlistings including Podcast of the Year, Outstanding Contribution and Best Promotional Initiative.​
